NSW E-Mobility Legislation
Updates to NSW E-Bike Legislation
New South Wales has introduced updated e-mobility legislation covering electric bikes, electric scooters, and related components, including safety standards, certification requirements, and approved usage conditions.
These regulations define what products can be legally sold, transferred, and used within NSW, and outline compliance requirements for electric vehicles, batteries, and chargers. The legislation is designed to improve rider safety and ensure consistency across approved e-mobility products.
