Our Range of Bike Seats

Bike Saddles (also commonly referred to as a 'Bike Seat') holds the majority of weight whilst riding a Bicycle. Saddles can often be blamed for discomfort whilst riding, so choosing the right one is important. The type of riding you do will also influence your choice. For example, Mountain Bike Saddles tend to be stronger and more durable, Road Bike Saddles are lighter, and saddles for cruiser or commuter bikes tend to be more comfort oriented.

The material used in the shell is an important consideration, as this will be the first place to wear out or get damaged. Padding distributes pressure across the saddle, and can be anything from polyurethane foam in cheaper saddles, up to gel in saddles specifically designed for comfort. Some saddles also contain grooves or cut outs to reduce pressure around sensitive areas.

Bike Saddles

Womens Saddles are available, which are typically wider to accommodate wider hips and anatomical differences. 99 Bikes has a huge range of Bicycle Seats and Saddles from brands like Selle Italia, Pro, Profile Design, Ascentia, and more. Options to suit any rider, from gel comfort saddles for recreational riders, to Road Bike Saddles with carbon fibre rails for road racers.

Triathlon Saddles designed specifically for the bike leg of triathlon and Ironman events. Triathlon saddles have extra padding on the nose to give extra comfort over long distances in time trial style riding positions. They also hold moisture distributing properties as triathletes will typically get on the bike wet following the swim leg. Be sure to checkout Bike Seat Posts to ensure you're saddle is well equipped.
