Key Features

• The Centre Row PowerBlock: During acceleration, heavy pedaling torque is transferred to the center tread zone of the rear tire. If these center knobs are too small or tall, they will flex or compress more, sticking to the ground longer before take-off and wasting energy. Conversely, if the knobs are too big or short, the tire may slip under heavy torque before regaining traction, slowing you down. Each Power Block is proportionally sized to handle the torque without sticking and is perfectly balanced with the proper height to minimize slipping while maintaining low rolling resistance after take-off.
• The Transition Knobs: These are substantially smaller than the center blocks and are in exact proportion to them. The transition knobs are designed to deform slightly at lean angles greater than 15 degrees. This deformation or compression is the rubber "sticking" to the ground, akin to traction. They are positioned at a 45-degree angle relative to the center knobs to help maintain forward momentum during side-to-side transitions and cornering.
• The Outer Knobs: About half the length of the transition knobs, the outer knobs are designed for maximum compression and traction at lean angles greater than 25 degrees. Typically not needed during a clean race, but if conditions get messy, the outer knobs will keep tracking during aggressive maneuvering and cornering, providing every last bit of grip to get you across the finish line faster.
