Description

The Pedal Messenger is a classic steel single-speed/fixed gear bike. Steel frame tubing provides retro styling, combined with a classically comfortable ride. Flat handlebars with a slight rise make Messenger a comfortable ride that is easy to handle (particularly at low speeds or with a drink in one hand). A flip/flop rear hub also means the bike can be ridden as a single speed (with freewheel coasting), or as a fixed gear.

A truly urban inspired bike, Messenger has taken some cues from BMX specs in order to improve its durability. An A-head stem on 1-1/8" fork steerer improves front end strength and stiffness for more confident handling. Solid resin BMX style pedals won't crack the first time you drop the bike, and dual pivot brakes give smooth, reliable stopping power.

A tough, stylish, around town option with low maintenance drivetrain makes Messenger a perfect option for someone who can't maintain a bike and isn't interested in learning. An in-built chain tensioner also makes the task of removing/fitting the rear wheel significantly simpler, meaning the bike is less likely to be retired the first time you get a flat.

Available in three classic colourways, with simple, understated branding, Messenger will serve you well for any uni/pub/park trips, or drivers licence suspensions.
