Merida Warp 5000 is a dedicated triathlon bike. Designed for triathletes looking to take their bike leg to the next level, or take on bigger events such as ironman.

Built around Merida’s Warp Tri CF4 frame, the high modulus carbon gives the bike increased stiffness whilst also reducing weight. The aerodynamic tube shapes of this bike means not a single watt goes to waste, whilst the increased stiffness in the bottom bracket area put more of your power to the road.

A full carbon aero fork dedicated to the Warp keeps things stiff at the front, for speed and precision, whilst the tapered head-tube gives accurate steering and handling. Shimano Ultegra gearing, with a Vision semi-compact crankset gives smooth incremental gear shifts via the TT shifters. This gives the rider the ability to always maintain the best cadence for optimum efficiency, but still offers a few climbing gears for the hilly courses.

The Vision Metron 55 carbon clincher wheelset represents outstanding value for money, giving you a huge aero advantage without busting the bank. The 55mm deep carbon wheels give a nice balance of being aerodynamic, but not so deep that they take too long to spin up to speed or affected so much by wind. Direct mount brakes provide improved stopping power and aerodynamics. 23mm front and 25mm rear tyres provide added comfort without sacrificing speed.
