Merida Speeder 20-D is an entry-level flat-bar road bike with disc brakes. It is an ideal bike for people looking to commute for the first time, or to ride casually with friends. Merida Speeder 20-D is made from lightweight aluminium which makes it easy to ride, particularly uphill.
The frame geometry creates a relaxed and upright riding position, that is comfortable and makes for easy handling. The flat-bar riding position gives better visibility and control compared to the traditional drop-bar road bikes, particularly when riding at lower speeds.
The 32c tyres give a great balance of comfort and riding efficiency, whilst still providing good grip on the road. Featuring hydraulic disc brakes for enhanced stopping power, integrated shift and brake levers for added control, and 32mm tyres for comfort and grip. The Shimano 24 speed gears provide smooth and accurate gearshifts, and wide range of gears for efficient pedalling.
