Description

The Merida Scultura 4000 for 2024 features an aerodynamic CF3 carbon frame with race-proven geometry, similar to the Reacto range. It's designed for both all-day comfort and race-day performance. The bike includes a carbon fork and Continental Ultra tyres, making it ideal for seasoned amateurs upgrading to a carbon frame. It comes with a 2 x 11-speed Shimano 105 groupset for smooth shifting and control, a 50-34T crankset, and an 11-34T cassette for efficient climbing and speed. Shimano 105 hydraulic disc brakes offer powerful and responsive braking. The bike also features Merida's wire port for neat cable routing, ensuring a clean cockpit. The Scultura 4000 is perfect for those seeking a nimble and exciting ride.

Newly updated for 2022, the new Scultura frame family incorporates aero details from the award-winning Reacto aero bike making this generation of Scultura the most aerodynamic ever. Now sharing its geometry with the Reacto, the Scultura takes its proven agility, comfort and lightweight design to the next level.

Precise Steering

All Scultura models feature a full carbon fork with a tapered steerer to give precise confidence-inspiring steering. Alloy and CF2 carbon models feature a regular 1 1/8" to 1 1/2" taper. The high-end CF3 frame has a slimmed-down front profile and uses a 1 1/8" to 1 1/4" taper.

Disc Cooling Technology

A forged aluminium part under the rear disc brake calliper draws heat away through CNC-milled cooling fins giving 35 % less heat build-up and faster temperature reduction for stable braking performance. Now you can brake with confidence even on long descents.
