Merida Cyclo Cross 400 is an intermediate level cyclocross bike that is perfect for getting into CX racing, or all conditions commuting, or some weekend gravel grinding. Well suited to someone who is looking for a bike with the efficient riding position of a road bike, but a little sturdier with the added flexibility of off-road capable wheels.
Featuring the Merida Cyclo Cross Lite aluminium frame, this bike will be stiff, light, and responsive. Whether you are getting into CX racing, or commuting in all conditions, the more upright riding position of this bike will give you great comfort, control and confidence regardless of the surface you are riding on.
A Shimano 105 groupset represents a great balance performance and price, with reliablilty to stand up to the kilometres you’ll be putting in, and ensure crisp shifting for years to come. With stopping power provided by cable disc brakes front and rear, this style of brake provides a significant advantage over rim brakes by providing more power and consistent performance in all conditions.
