The Merida Crossway 500 Hybrid Bike brings relaxed versatility for casual riding and commuting on urban streets and bike paths. Functionality on the Crossway starts with the light and easy to control alloy frame with comfort geometry, matched with a Suntour NCX fork and remote lockout for a smoother ride. The 3x10 speed Shimano drivetrain has an efficient range of gears to help you tackle any climb or descent.
The brakes are the real highlight on the Crossway 500, equipped with Shimano MT-200 brake levers and MT-400 Hydraulic Disc Brakes for responsive braking control in all conditions so that you can ride with confidence. The 500 even has Shimano Deore shifters and front derailleur, and a Shimano XT Shadow Rear Derailleur. You'll be rolling on wide Maxxis Overdrive II tyres for enhanced comfort and reflective strips for added visibility. Importantly, you can even add mud guards to suit your preferences.
