Merida Big Nine 300 is a mid-level performance mountain bike. This bike is well suited to recreational riders looking to their riding to the next level. The Big Nine is ideal for the taller rider, being only offered in sizes medium and up.
The frame is made from hydro-formed aluminium; providing a balance of lightness, stiffness, and sturdiness. This will translate to a bike that this agile and maneuvrable that will climb fast and efficiently out of the saddle. Front air-sprung suspension is courtesy of SR Suntour, it also has a lock-out feature to reduce bob when climbing out of the saddle.
A Shimano 30 speed Deore drivetrain takes care of shifting duties, and will ensure a smooth efficient ride for years to come. Braking is also taken care of by Shimano, with hydraulic discs front and rear you can be confident you will have ample stopping power when you need it.
