The rear shell construction is designed to hold your goggle strap and works great with the open front that allows for goggle or normal eyewear use. The integrated visor provides protection from low hanging branches and other things you encouter on your rides. The integrated low friction MIPS layer provides additional protection against rotational impacts for when a crash occurs.
