The Suntour XCM Coil Fork has 100mm travel so that you can go off-road, but it is probably best for touring or commuting where you need to take a short cut off the beaten track. This is where the Bosch Active Plus Gen 3 Drive Unit and Bosch PowerPACK 500Wh Battery come into their own as you get a smooth and easy 25km/h with minimal pedalling effort.

While the e-bike components are the highlight, the Macina Ride 291 has a reliable range of spec across the bike. The Shimano MT200 2 Piston Hydraulic Disc Brakes will give you excellent braking control in all weather conditions, and the Schwalbe Smart Sam Tyres will give you traction and comfort with reasonable speed. This is the vibe that the Macina Ride 291 gives off, comfort and control with some easy speed that isn't flat out fast, but more than enough for most riders out there.
