The Cube SL Road Pro is a no nonsense flat bar road bike that gives you the chance to experience cycling in its purest form. With the SL Road you’ll know what to expect every time, this bike will just keeping backing up and delivering a simple and fun riding experience everyday. The SL Road is made with a double-butted aluminium frame that is extremely light, durable and stiff. The frame is paired with lightweight aluminium forks which takes inspiration from Cube’s higher end racing designs, with an aero shape that improves stiffness and creates precision steering.
The durable frame is combined with a simple yet brilliant SRAM 1X12 Speed drivetrain which gives you the range to ride like a pro, yet minimises the amount of maintenance required thanks to the reduced number of moving components. When you're out riding, you want control and confidence in your braking and the Shimano hydraulic disc brakes will give you reliable braking control whatever the weather. Hydraulic Disc brakes are becoming increasingly common on road bikes and with added control and reliability on offer they make sense on a comfortable flat bar road bike like this. The Cube SL Road Pro is definitely on the performance end of the flat bar road bike range, with a 1x12 setup and hydraulic disc brakes this is one slick setup.
Advanced Twin Mold: This technique uses a complete core to provide the perfect frame form during the lay-up process. As with the Twin Mold technology, precise inserts are used to ensure extra strength at high-stress frame points, offering maximum control over fibre orientations during the lay-up and production process. This results in outstanding product safety and quality together with optimum weight and stiffness characteristics.
Wet Paint Surface: On polished, brushed aluminium and all HPC frames, the logos and graphics are applied in multi-layer wet paint to save weight.
