Wahoo at 99 Bikes

Wahoo brings together indoor and outdoor cycling data in one ecosystem built for riders who want to feel every watt and embrace suffering (in a good way). Their gear links smart trainers, computers, wearables and accessories so you can train indoors, race outside and use every metric without seams.

You get precision power, accurate navigation and clever tech made to be rugged yet usable—no over-engineering, just performance for riders who sweat for results.

The Wahoo Story

Wahoo was founded in 2009 in Atlanta by cyclist Chip Hawkins after seeing a need for cleanly connecting heart rate monitors and sensors to phones and riding devices. That original push for better data became the KICKR smart indoor trainer line, the ELEMNT GPS computers and wearables, and the Wahoo SYSTM training software. Over time Wahoo has acquired Speedplay pedals and virtual platforms like The Sufferfest and RGT, now bundled under the Wahoo X subscription.

That history means when you ride with Wahoo at 99 Bikes you're backed by years of testing, hardware built for pros and real ride feedback. You get tech refined from elite-level pain brought down to fit on your budget and in your morning session.

Why Ride Wahoo?

  • Fully connected ecosystem. Trainers, computers, apps and wearables all work together so your indoor sessions, outdoor rides and training plans share data seamlessly.
  • Race-level accuracy made real. Smart trainers and smart bikes measure power within ±1 per cent, with realistic grade simulation up to 20 per cent so your thresholds mean something.
  • Navigation you can trust. GPS computers have colour maps, route rerouting, turn-by-turn cues and safety features like vehicle proximity alerts.
  • Smart tools for suffering well. Accessories like the HEADWIND fan or powerful smart trainers keep you cool, challenged and motivated even when you want to stop, but don’t.

Popular Wahoo Ranges Explained

Kickr Core

Kickr Core is a direct-drive smart trainer that brings high-power resistance (around 1,800 watts) and accuracy of ±2 per cent, at a more affordable level. It pairs with apps like Zwift and Wahoo SYSTM so you get realistic ride feel indoors without breaking the bank.

Kickr V6

Kickr V6 is a flagship smart trainer built for serious endurance work. It delivers up to 2,200 watts of resistance, simulates gradients up to 20 percent and works with ANT+ and Bluetooth to connect to everything in your setup.

Elemnt Roam

The Elemnt Roam computer gives you large full-colour mapping, safety lights for vehicle awareness, 32 gigabytes storage or more and a long battery life so it keeps up on long rides and adventures. It links indoors too so you can control smart trainers from ride history or routes.

Kickr Bike

Kickr Bike is a dedicated smart bike with frame and handlebar fit adjustments, grade simulation to 20 per cent incline and -15 per cent decline, and a quiet flywheel with power accuracy within ±1 per cent. It feels more like riding your road bike than sitting on a trainer.

Elemnt Bolt

Elemnt Bolt provides a streamlined race-oriented computer with high-contrast 2.3-inch display, up to 20 hours of battery, GPS with dual-band support, and simplified navigation so you get essential ride metrics fast and easy when racing or pushing your limits.

Kickr Headwind

Kickr Headwind is a smart fan made for indoor riders. Airflow adjusts to your speed, heart rate or trainer output, with four manual settings. It hits up to about 48 kilometres per hour equivalent wind, keeping you cool when you push hard.
