• The outer knobs are about half the length of the transition knobs and are designed for maximum compression and traction at lean angles greater than 25 degrees. While typically not needed during a clean race, they are crucial if conditions become challenging, ensuring tracking during aggressive maneuvers and cornering to provide maximum grip and help you finish faster.
• The center row, known as the "Power Block," is crucial during acceleration as heavy pedaling torque is transferred to the center tread zone of the rear tire.
