The Reid City 1 is one of Reid's favourite commute bikes. If you're keen to get to work, the shops and generally take the healthy, cheap transport option, the City 1 is one of the best investments that you can make. At this price, it'll just take a few bus tickets before it pays for itself! A rigid fork keeps the weight low and the manoeuvrability high, which is perfect for the urban environments. With powerful brakes, a huge range of gears, wide riser handlebars and both mudguards and a pannier rack, this bike is ready for commuting, touring and all-day adventures on roads, bike paths and sealed trails!

The stop-start nature of urban and off-road riding takes a toll on brakes, so we've chosen Tektro V-brakes that are tough, reliable and easy to service. V-brakes allow you to quickly replace or adjust the brake-pads. They also allow you to use a wider range of panniers bags. The double-walled rims are light but very tough. The sealed bearing bottom bracket is maintenance free. The City 1 has everything you need as a weekday workhorse or a weekend tourer.
