The Norco Sight VLT NX 12 is a carbon frame E-mountain bike that is built to be versatile and aggressive. An E-mountain bike can help you ride if you need a bit of extra help to get out on the trails or for the more experienced riders it can help you ride further and faster. This bike is classified as pedal-assist, meaning the power only kicks in to assist you when you pedal.
The Norco carbon frame is designed with all-mountain geometry that is longer, lower and slacker for fast, aggressive riding. The Gravity Tune design fixes the front-centre/rear-centre ratio across all frame sizes, effectively optimising geometry and rider weight distribution for every bike size in the line. Norco have put a significant amount of energy into developing a strong yet light carbon frame. Their SmoothCore process and ArmorLite resin which is used in the bonding process, creates a much stronger frame with increased impact resistance. The Shimano E8000 motor and 600w Simplo battery has all the power you will need to help get you up the biggest hills and enjoy the ride. The inner tube battery is a reveloutionary concept for ebikes and is starting to be adopted across the board, for aesthetic and practical reasons.
Suspension is king for the Sight VLT NX 12, designed using the A.R.T. suspension system which delivers high-end suspension performance for superior climbing and descending capability. The system is optimised specifically for all-mountain riding. The Fox Performance 36 fork (w/ travel boost) with 160mm travel and RockShox Deluxe RT Debonair rear shock will give you excellent control and help you navigate all the bumps on the wildest trails. Also new in 2019, the modern 12-speed SRAM NX Eagle drivetrain and Maxxis Minion tyres will help you climb and descend with smooth efficiency. When you’re pushing the limits on the trails you need to be able stop in any conditions, and the SRAM Guide T hydraulic disc brakes with 200mm rotors will give you unrivalled stopping power rain, hail or shine.
