The Norco Aurum HSP2 is a carbon frame downhill racing bike that brings world-class design to the everyday rider. Norco designed this bike with a single purpose, to be the fastest downhill bike they’ve ever designed. It offers a premium alloy frame with a World Cup-proven design and Gravity Tune technology which fixes the front-centre/rear-centre ratio across all frame sizes, effectively optimising geometry and rider weight distribution for the Aurum HSP2. Norco have put a significant amount of energy into developing a strong yet light carbon frame. Their SmoothCore process and ArmorLite resin which is used in the bonding process, creates a much stronger frame with increased impact resistance.

To race downhill you need high-quality suspension that is effectively integrated. The A.R.T Suspension system optimises the suspension for the Aurum HSP2 and racing downhill, to deliver high-end suspension performance for superior descending capability. It is equipped with the brand-new Rockshox Boxxer RC with charger damper and boost, while a Fox Performance Van Coil rear shock looks after the backend. These parts are designed for going downhill aggressively and will give your reliable, high-end performance. When you’re flying downhill you’ll need to stop at a moments notice with control, and the SRAM Guide R 4 piston hydraulic brakes with front and rear 200mm rotors will give you unrivalled stopping power in all conditions. Like everything with this bike, the SRAM GX groupset has been pieced together specifically for downhill racing. Every aspect of this bike has been thought of and Norco really has created a downhill racing machine.
