Description

The ONE-SIXTY 500 by Merida features a new geometry and suspension design in a durable aluminum frame. It includes a RockShox Yari fork and Deluxe shock for handling tough terrains, along with four-piston Shimano brakes and a wide-range drivetrain for consistent performance. The 2022 model introduces a flexstay suspension system with an adjustable rocker, allowing for a full 29er setup with 162 mm travel or a mixed 29/27.5-inch setup with 171 mm travel, maintaining geometry. It has a steep 79-degree seat tube angle for climbing and a slack 64-degree head angle with a 170 mm fork for downhill stability. The new sizing options let riders choose a frame reach independent of height, with more progressive suspension as sizes increase, complemented by long-travel dropper posts. The bike also features internal cable routing and a threaded bottom bracket.
