The Maxxis Rekon MTB Tyre is designed for aggressive trail riding on intermediate and technical terrain. It features wide knobs down the center for enhanced control during braking and L-shaped side knobs for support in loose turns. This design allows for more confident racing and less scouting.
Key Features
- TR: Tubeless tires offer several advantages, including the ability to run lower air pressures for improved traction, lower rolling resistance compared to tube-type tires, and a reduced risk of flats since there is no tube. Liquid sealants should only be used in tubeless road, tubular, and tubeless ready tires.
- 3C MaxxTerra: This is an intermediate compound configuration used in select mountain tires. It is softer and provides more traction than 3C MaxxSpeed, while offering better treadwear and less rolling resistance than MaxxGrip.
- EXO: This is a highly cut-resistant and abrasion-resistant material added to the sidewalls of select mountain tires. The densely woven fabric is lightweight and flexible, ensuring the tire's performance remains unaffected.
