Product Details

Description

The Maxxis Minion DHR II Folding MTB Tyre is designed for aggressive trail riding. It features side knobs from the Minion DHF, widened for better support, allowing for exceptional cornering. The center tread has ramped leading edges for improved acceleration and sipes for a smooth transition when leaning. Paddle-like knobs on the center tread enhance control during hard braking. Pairing it with a Minion DHF at the front creates an ideal combination for tackling challenging trails.

Key Features

  • The tread is ramped and siped to ensure fast rolling and straight tracking during braking.
  • EXO+ construction combines SilkShield and EXO materials. SilkShield runs bead-to-bead, while EXO is along the sidewalls. Together, they enhance tread puncture protection by 27%, sidewall durability by 51%, and resistance to pinch flats by 28%.
  • 3C MaxxTerra is an intermediate compound used in select mountain tires, offering more traction than 3C MaxxSpeed and better treadwear with less rolling resistance than MaxxGrip.
  • Tubeless tires allow for lower air pressures, improving traction, reducing rolling resistance compared to tube-type tires, and decreasing the likelihood of flats since there is no tube.
