This tyre is stitched closed around an inner tube which means it isn't like you're regualr tyre and needs to be glued or taped to your tubular specfic rims. Tubular tyres are designed for racing and benefit from a reduction in rolling resistance meaning it delivers an increase in speed and performance, you can run lower pressures too for better tractions thanks to no fear of the tyre falling off the rim!

Silkworm is a lightweight material inserted into the tyre casing which significantly increases puncture resistance and tear resistance.
