Enduro Bearings gear is built for riders who value rock-solid reliability and smooth operation over flashy specs. Designed by engineers who ride, their bearings bring long life, precision and corrosion resistance so every spin on your chainset, headset or wheel feels like it matters.
The Enduro Bearings Story
Enduro Bearings was founded in 1996 by Matt Harvey and Mike Alders in Oakland, California. It started from repairing bikes, tinkering with suspension pivots and redesigning bearings industrially so they'd stand up to mountain biking’s toughest demands – plain bushings were failing, pivots were wearing out fast and there was a gap for better rolling element bearings. Their early designs, including the pioneering MAX full-complement suspension bearing, were built by hand from surplus steel and bearing balls, driven by a need for toughness over trendiness.
Today Enduro’s operations span California, Singapore, Taiwan and China. They manufacture using premium materials like high-carbon chromium steel, stainless, ceramic hybrids and their own XD15 super-stainless steel. Their testing protocols mirror real-world cycling use. That lets them serve OEMs and aftermarket riders alike with bearings that stay smooth, resist corrosion, and last for thousands of kilometres.

Why Ride Enduro Bearings?
- MAX full-complement designs deliver higher load capacity. Without bearing retainers, more balls fit inside the races, letting bearings handle twisting and impact forces free-ride, trail or all-mountain riders encounter.
- XD15 super-stainless steel handles corrosion like nothing else.
- Angular-contact bearings tuned for tight fit and zero play.
- Industrial-grade balls and materials you can trust.
Popular Enduro Bearings Ranges Explained
Enduro Bearings Radial Bearing
Radial bearings are the most common type on bicycles for parts such as hubs, pedals or drive-train that endure mostly side-to-side forces. Enduro’s radial bearing range produces precision bearings that spin with low friction and resist wear when under radial load.
Enduro Bearings Blackbearing
Blackbearing is a radial series finished with a black oxide coating for improved corrosion resistance without adding much cost. These are a strong choice for riders who want sealed radial bearings that stay quieter and cleaner even after muddy or wet rides.
Enduro Bearings Angular Headset
Angular contact bearings are used in headsets to handle combined loads from steering and front-end impacts. Enduro’s Angular Headset bearings use larger balls and tighter tolerances so your steering feels tight and returns true without creak or wobble.
Enduro Bearings XD15 / Smr / Mr Bottom Bracket Bearings
Range like Enduro’s Smr 2437 and Mr 2437 bottom bracket bearings are made to handle combined radial and thrust loads while pedalling and climbing. Whether you choose ceramic hybrid, stainless or standard steel, you’ll get smooth rotation for longer and easier maintenance.
