The Castelli Story

Castelli began in 1876 in Milan as a tailor’s shop by Vittore Gianni, creating ready-to-wear clothes for ballet dancers, footballers and local dignitaries. Armando Castelli joined in the 1930s and in 1974 his son Maurizio redefined the business into a dedicated cycling brand with the iconic scorpion logo. From introducing Lycra-based shorts, pioneering sublimation printing, to inventing water repellent “Nano Flex” fabrics, Castelli has repeatedly shaped what cycling clothing can do.
