The BMC Timemachine sets the benchmark for triathlon time trial bikes with its refined aerodynamic frame and class-leading Swiss design. The Timemachine is built using BMC’s SubA concept aero tube shaping which places an emphasis on cable integration, aero tube shaping and dynamic position-specific components. The Aerodynamic 01 Premium Carbon Frame combines effortlessly with BMC’s hinge fork which offers a lean frontal profile and new cockpit mounting system which improves both form and function. The V-Cockpit improves aerodynamic performance for taller stack pad dimensions, while it’s forward offset ensure optimal vertical compliance.
The Timemachine is equipped with a 2x11 speed SRAM Red eTap groupset for smooth, crisp and efficient shifting while you’re operating at your absolute limit. While the SRAM RED eTap Hydraulic Disc brakes are built with hidden brake booster technology to increase brake lever pull to caliper-free stroke ratio so that the brake pads offer sufficient clearance at times of wheel flex and allows for complete disconnection of the cockpit when you travel. BMC’s dual-mount seatpost is capable of creating between a 71-81 degree effective seat tube angle for your optimal aero position and the rear-mounted equipment storage box and toptube fuel compartments offer fully integrated and aero storage.
The BMC Timemachine 01 Two Time Trial bike combines state of the art technology and innovation with practical time trial feel and performance. This bike is built to dominate from Kona to your local triathlon and everything in between with this Swift piece of Swiss engineering.
Triathlon Weapon: A rear-mount equipment storage box, top tube fuel box mounts, and down tube dual-mount bottle cage options add up to a dedicated triathlon weapon.
The Flat-Cockpit: (optional on frameset, not included with complete bike) offers the maximum aerodynamic advantage, letting riders attain the lowest possible pad stack configurations.
Hidden Brake Booster Technology: increases the brake-lever-pull to caliper-free-stroke ratio ensuring the brake pads provide sufficient clearance at times of wheel flex. The system allows for the complete disconnection of the cockpit (when paired with electronic shifting options) for travel purposes.
Quick-Pad cartridge system: the revised caliper design improves overall brake function and aerodynamic performance. Perfect placement of the rear wheel thanks to hollow, full-carbon adjustable dropouts.
