Truvativ gear is built for riders who want serious drivetrain performance without serious price tags. Tough enough to take on trails, yet affordable for those just starting their ride journey. Sit tight for drivetrain components that work harder so you can pedal further.

The Truvativ Story

Founded by radical engineers and embraced by SRAM in 2004, Truvativ set out to engineer high-performance drivetrain, crankset, crank arm, handlebar, stem, pedal, and chain retention systems for riders from beginner to expert. The founder, Micki Kozuschek, started by drawing his own designs, experimenting with alloy forging, then evolved into machines that deliver function and durability first. Truvativ still does research and design work in San Luis Obispo, California, meaning the product benefits from racing heritage, field testing, and materials science advancements.

That history shows up in every part today: they use innovations developed on downhill and enduro tracks to improve wear resistance, reduce weight, and make maintenance easier—so your ride is more reliable, even off road or when you’re pushing your limits.

Why Ride Truvativ?

  • DUB technology makes bearings and spindles simpler and tougher. Uses uniform spindle-diameter where the bottom bracket and crank arm integrate better sealing and improved durability, letting you swap parts without reengineering compatibility issues.
  • X-SYNC 2 chainring tooth profile improves retention and reduces grime buildup. Aggressive tooth shape keeps chain more planted, cleans out mud and grit easier, so shifting stays crisp when conditions get sloppy.
  • Proprietary carbon and forged alloy builds that balance weight, strength and value. Carbon crank arms are reinforced at wear points, alloy arms are forged and optimised for strength, letting entry-level riders get more trail-worthy parts at lower cost.
  • Eagle drivetrain compatibility across wide gear ranges. 1× drivetrains let you pick a single front chainring, paired up with wide-range rear gears for smooth climbing and fast flats, without shifting complexity.
