Santini isn’t about elitist cycling gear—it’s about gear that brings pro-level tech to regular riders with passion. Designed in Italy and infused with decades of innovation, Santini makes zit-less rides, strong starts and comfortable kilometres feel achievable for anyone.
The Santini Story
Santini was founded in 1965 by Pietro Santini in Bergamo, Italy, starting with knitwear and wool garments before shifting entirely to performance-driven cycling apparel. From replacing wool with Lycra, introducing synthetic antibacterial paddings and adopting windproof membrane fabrics, Santini has pushed forward with every material breakthrough in cycling wear since the 1970s and 1980s.
Its long partnerships—such as being the supplier of the rainbow jersey for UCI World Champions since 1988—mean every stitch in every garment comes from a heritage of real race demands. That means what’s on your saddle today comes from the same tech trusted by elite riders.

Why Ride Santini?
- Fit that disappears. Santini designs its clothes to feel like a second skin, minimising chafing, bulk and anything that distracts you.
- Chamois built for longer rides. With its signature paddings like GITevo, MIG3 and more, the brand offers cushioning and shock absorption developed with pro feedback.
- Durability made in Italy. Garments are created, cut, sewn and finished in Bergamo with fabrics that are tested for compression, breathability and longevity, so they last beyond the first few washes.
- Performance founded in innovation. Every design starts with material and tech research—Lycra, antibacterial chamois—even windproof fabrics—all coming from Santini’s history of evolving gear to match ever higher standards.

Santini Vara Plus
The Santini Vara Plus Gel Evo Bibknicks are ideal if you ride daily, commute or spend hours in the saddle. They use Thunderbike and Powerbike compression fabrics that hug muscles to reduce fatigue and cramping. The GITevo Gel Chamois adds a silicone gel core and a carved padding structure to absorb road vibrations while keeping the pad soft without extra seams.
