Shop Raven

Raven builds tough-as-nails BMX bikes, helmets and scooters for kids ready to drop into the skatepark for the very first time. Everything is made to be accessible and durable, so young riders get serious fun without needing serious cash. Get the gear that’s built for grit, not glamour.

The Raven Story

Raven is designed in Australia and built for Aussie kids. The team behind Raven grew up riding BMX themselves and saw too many bikes marked up in price despite using basic steel frames and off-the-shelf parts. They set out to cut out the extras that don’t add value, so you get solid builds, real safety standards and parts that endure crashes and learning curves. Raven still engineers all its helmets, bikes and scooters with local riders in mind. That history delivers confidence to parents, grip to tyres and durability to frames today, so your kid rides strong from day one.

Why Ride Raven?

  • Australian-designed for our parks. Frames, helmets and scooters built with the conditions kids ride here, with safety standards that meet AS/NZS requirements.
  • Durable materials not flashy excuses. Hi-tensile steel, ABS hardshells, alloy decks and solid wheels mean less to fix, more to ride, even after tumbles.
  • Real tech, real value. Raven cuts the markup. You get features like ABEC-7 bearings, dial-fit systems, and steel flex or nylon brakes without blowing your budget.
  • Made for learning and progress. Gear sizes, weight and designs match growing riders: helmets fit snug, bikes have coaster and hand brakes, scooters have low decks and wide bars for control.

Popular Raven Ranges Explained

Raven Bmx Helmet

The Raven BMX Helmet is built with a tough ABS hardshell and a moulded lining that holds up against bangs in the skatepark. It uses 11 vents to balance airflow with protection, features a dial-fit across multiple sizes to grow with your kid, and meets AS/NZS safety standards.

Raven Trickster

The Raven Trickster is a kids’ BMX bike that handles the basics without any fuss. With a hi-tensile steel frame and strong wheels it will take falls, airborne tricks and learning curves. Coaster rear brake and front hand-brake help new riders get control as they build skills.

Raven Rv1 Scooter

The Raven RV1 Scooter is suited for ages four to eight and built light enough for youngsters to push it around but strong enough to take impacts. Features include a 6063 alloy deck, soft 100 millimetre wheels, ABEC-7 bearings, steel fork and a flex brake for reliable stopping while learning balance.

Raven Rv2 Scooter

The Raven RV2 Scooter steps up for riders aged six plus needing more width and wheel size. It uses a 6061-T6 welded deck, wider bars, bigger 110 millimetre wheels with alloy cores and upgraded brakes so tricks and ramps feel more stable.
