Shop Giro Helmets

Born on the road, Giro defines premium head protection for riders big and small. Engineered with cutting-edge impact protection, Giro helmets bring pro-level safety for weekend warriors and peace-of-mind for families letting littlies roam.

From lightweight road styles to rugged Mountain Bike coverage and colourful kid-friendly builds Giro scales its tech so every rider gets a helmet they trust, not just admire.

The Giro Story

Founded in 1985 by Jim Gentes, Giro started with a keen eye for design and filling gaps nobody knew existed—footwear lasts that felt right, helmets that balanced protection and comfort. It has grown into a brand celebrated for innovation, rigorous testing and a passion for riders of all kinds.

Giro uses those same roots—originality and precision—to make helmets that protect on every ride today. You benefit when every vent, fit system and shell material is born out of decades of design practice and scientific safety standards.

Why Ride Giro?

  • Rotational impact protection built in. Giro integrates the Multi-Directional Impact Protection System to reduce brain-damaging torque during angled crashes so you ride safer on road, gravel or trail.
  • Fit systems designed for every head. From Roc Loc Sport to Roc Loc Junior, Giro offers easy one-hand adjustments, secure dials and scaled sizes so you get a stable, comfortable fit whether you're 5 or 50.
  • Strong shells without unnecessary bulk. In-Mold and Hardbody constructions use polycarbonate fused to foam to protect without heaviness or awkward shapes.
  • Ventilation and sweat control matter. Wind Tunnel vents, internal channels, quick-dry and anti-microbial padding help you stay cool and clean when the temperature or the ride heat up.

Popular Giro Ranges Explained

Giro Agilis

The Giro Agilis is a road-sport helmet mixing light weight, pro-inspired fit and extra protection. Its In-Mold polycarbonate shell, Hardbody lower wrap and Integrated MIPS system offer deeper coverage and robustness while retaining breathability thanks to extensive Wind Tunnel vents—ideal for long rides or mixed-surface adventures.

Giro Fixture

The Giro Fixture gives rugged sport styling and deep coverage for trail or ride-park action. With Roc Loc Sport fit, a wide size range and Modern vents, you get serious protection that doesn’t feel clunky. Comes ready for your next ride with strong shell and dirt-road capable features.

Giro Elixir

The Giro Elixir blends mountain bike style with practical comfort. It features Hardbody coverage, a removable visor and Roc Loc Sport adjustment so your lid stays secure when you push off cambered trails or climb under trees. Strong, lightweight and ventilated for hot Aussie rides.

Giro Scamp

The Giro Scamp is a kids helmet made to match adult safety without the bulk. In-Mold shell, MIPS protection, Roc Loc Jr plus pinch-guard buckle help protect small riders. Designs include fun decals and visor-compatibility so kids love wearing them from the balance bike up.

Giro Chrono

Chrono is Giro’s performance short for road riders needing padded support over long distances. Though not a helmet it’s included to round out a serious road kit. Elastic leg grippers and breathable fabric help reduce chafe while you focus on cadence and comfort.

Giro Isode

The Isode brings race-inspired road styling into an accessible package. Compact silhouette, efficient ventilation and a dial‐adjust fit system make it perfect for riders seeking sporty looks and feel without the price tag of top tier models. MIPS Evolve options available for increased safety.
