The Bluegrass Story

Bluegrass is an Italian brand launched by MET in 2008 as their dedicated line for high-angle, gravity-enduro and park riding. Every helmet under the Bluegrass name is designed with lessons from those aggressive disciplines—long descents, big impacts and tricky terrain.

That heritage shows up in what matters today: extended coverage, rigorous testing, and safety systems built to reduce both direct and rotational impact forces. All of that makes a difference for your ride.

Why Ride Bluegrass?

  • Strong protection designs you can trust. Bluegrass helmets use extended rear and temple coverage so impact-vulnerable zones get more material to shield them during a crash.
  • Brain safety as priority. They include rotational-impact tech like MIPS-C2 to reduce twisting forces on the brain inside the helmet during angled hits.
  • Solid construction and comfort work hand in hand. In-mould shells with polycarbonate overlays, dual-shell ABS finishes, washable pads, and magnetic buckles all add up to gear that rides well all day.
  • Certified for local safety standards. Bluegrass helmets meet AS/NZS and CE safety standards so they are legal for on-road use in Australia and tested for impact, strap strength, and retention.
