The Merida eONE-SIXTY Limited Edition Electric Mountain Bike is built to tackle demanding enduro and trail riding with comfort. The LTD Edition is a refined version of the hugely popular eONE-Sixty, replacing the carbon/alloy frame with a full aluminium frame that still retains the upgraded technology and design of the 2020 eONE-SIXTY. The rear alloy triangle is one of the strongest rear triangles Merida has ever constructed, designed to handle this powerful e-bike. It still gives you that real mountain bike feel while you’re flying downhill thanks to the tuned MTB geometry, with a combination of improved comfort and travel that you would expect on a powerful bike like this.

You can’t go past the fully integrated Shimano STePS E8035 504wh Battery and Shimano E8000 Drive Unit when it comes to the highlight of this beast. Packing a heap of power under the hood, the battery is easy to access under the Energy Guard battery cover. The motor immediately reacts to any pedal power which gives an intuitive ride and agile feel and this really stands out when you ride this bike. Operating the e-bike components has never been so simple, as the power button is in the top tube and the satellite charging port is located just above the motor. Everything to do with the Shimano STePS components has been optimised for the best e-mtb experience, the combination of the chainstay protector and battery cover even makes this one of the quietest e-bikes going around.

When it comes to the traditional riding aspects, Merida really has hit a home run with the 12-speed Shimano XT drivetrain with precision shifting and Shimano MT-520 4 piston/MT-500 2 piston Hydraulic Disc Brakes for unmatched braking control over all that power. Merida delivers on the finer details too, with a Merida Comp TR dropper post which is quite good, as well as the convenience of an in-built mini toolbox. When it comes to comparing the Merida e0NE-SIXTY to the e0NE-FORTY, the e0NE-FORTY is a more agile all-day ride type of bike while the eONE-SIXTY is incredibly capable at high speeds and on challenging tracks, with a great focus on downhills. The Merida eONE-SIXTY Limited Edition Electric Mountain Bike is an excellent refinement of the already brilliant e-ONE-SIXTY, with brilliant spec and a durable, lightweight frame which is slightly more affordable and doesn’t compromise on performance.

eONE-SIXTY Lite II Frame: HFS-hydroformed Prolite 66 triple butted aluminium frame featuring internal battery technology and an aggressive enduro geometry with 160 mm rear wheel travel. Shimano STePS motor allows for short chain stays delivering agility. ‘Smart Entry’ cable routing for rattle free running. Casting motor bracket creates an integrated appearance of the motor into the frame as well as provides an extremely strong connection between frame and motor.

Energy Guard: A two-component battery cover, which offers perfect protection for the internal battery. The softer (outer) layer reduces noises, seals the downtube perfectly and absorbs hits from trail debris easily, while the harder (inner) layer ensures that the battery does not get damaged and gives it the structural shape. All critical parts like the rubber strap and o-rings for perfect fitting can be replaced.

Internal Block: First introduced in our 2015 NINETY-SIX, the new version of the 'Internal Block' is incorporated directly in the frame and prevents the fork crown from hitting the carbon frame in case of a crash or an extreme steering angle. As an extra protection, there are additional rubber bumpers on the frame to avoid any frame damage from the fork crown.

Satellite Points: The bike features a perfectly positioned satellite on/off switch, at the head tube end of the top tube, and a well-protected satellite charging port, positioned in the main frame triangle, just above the motor. 

Thermo Gate: Specifically located openings on the carbon eONE-SIXTY models near the head tube which work like a chimney and allow the warm air to dissipate to guarantee the optimum operating temperature of the internal battery. The 'Thermo Gate' enables the battery to perform at its best, in any condition.

Boost: ‘Boost’ standard front & rear. The extra 6 mm rear hub and 10 mm front hub spacing in comparison with conventional hubs brings the width up to 148 mm / 110 mm and gives the eONE-SIXTY wheels noticeably more stiffness and strength.
