The redefinition of XC and Marathon racing: Regarding the utilisation of 2x10 drive trains, there is almost no other 100 mm dual suspension platform which has been developed in a more systematic way than our brand-new racing machine NINETY-NINE. After several years, the close cooperation between the MULTIVAN MERIDA BIKING TEAM and our R&D experts has resulted in a successor for our state-of-the-art racing bike NINETY-SIX: The equally light-weight NINETY-NINE is eager to cycle into the bike worldís top ranks with a comparatively stiffer BB section and a significantly more efficient chassis.

Thanks to its X-Taper head tube, the 100 mm front end delights with superb directional stability and stiffness. The 99 mm of rear wheel travel is both small bump compliant and drivetrain-neutral. Combined with a geometry that is optimised for acceleration, these features unquestionably turn our NINETY-NINE into a thoroughbred racer. This is underlined by a chassis that can be locked completely via remote lockout while also offering lowering of the front fork, providing maximum sprint potential and increased front wheel pressure on steep ascents.

The Main frame, rocker link and rear stay are all full-carbon elements that facilitate the struggle against both the clock and competitors by saving as much weight as possible. Our top version NINETY-NINE Carbon Team-D weighs in at an impressive 8.9 kg** (at frame size 18")! But our new bike does not only convince on the scales, also its chassis performance sets new benchmarks in the 100 mm category: The kinematics are optimized for 2x10 drivetrains for racing applications and works due to M.O.R.E. technology identically at all frame sizes. Moreover, the frame is reinforced via Double Chamber profiles while its high BB stiffness of 80 N/mm saves every bit of sprint power.
